Start to teach them mnemonics.
Teaching children mnemonics is highly beneficial as it not only improves their memory but also benefits their brain. While Bacon emphasized the power of knowledge, Einstein argued that imagination is even more crucial. He believed that imagination encompasses the whole world, including what we will come to know and understand in the future. Therefore, teaching children mnemonics not only helps them to memorize information but also enhances their imagination and creativity. What greater help can we give to our children?
Begin with the Rhyming System as they will probably already know “One, Two buckle my shoe” or the Shape System where they can see and draw the pictures that the shapes of the numbers make.
